NEWS STORY 9 - Champagne Joe recovering from a broken wrist, sends greetings to fans.
Champagne Joe Militello, our California reporter, and our friend, has suffered a fall and a broken left wrist. We know many of the fans enjoy Champagne's stories, and his live seminars at Del Mar. He wanted to let his fans know he was on the mend and should be back in action soon.

Champagne Joe wanted all his fans to know he is recovering from a broken left wrist. This was the result of a fall, and Champagne is going to be alright.

For those in the know, Champagne is a San Diego area Horse Racing personality. Champagne gives regular seminars to the fans at Santa Anita and at Del Mar when they are in season, and he is very well known to California racing fans. We have always been a big fan of Champagne, and wanted to let the rest of the country know about him too, so we gave him his own monthly column.

According to Champagne, he is feeling better, and the cast has been removed from his wrist. He is now wearing a 'soft cast', and expects to be back at his keyboard soon.

We all wish Champagne a speedy recovery, and on behalf of our entire staff and our fans say..."GET WELL SOON CHAMPAGNE !"
