I couldn't agree anymore Bandini Bros. Kiarin is one of my favorite trainers but i couldnt play that horse...This was a terrible derby showing just how weak this crop is this year..I make no excuse for my top AfleetAlex he had an ideal set up just was not good enough..Those who like horses such as AA NobleC, Bandini could not of asked for a better scenario just more proof of how weak the field was.Congrats to the winning connections but lets face it people dont kid yourself this years crop sucks. The top 2 derby horses will be hard pressed to hit the board in Maryland. More on the race as it nears. It sure is going to be a lack-luster race probably the cheap Maryland races on the undercard will offer more excitement and value.
