Race #1-MDN.CLMG-($40-50K)-5 1/2 Furlongs *1st'ers-Caution*

Top Selection: PP#2 Turks Regal Lady *Sellers* 72/75

Second Selection: PP#10 Wrong Number *Arguello* 71/75

Third Selection: PP#1 Runaway Magic *Day* 70/70

Fourth Selections: PP#7 Little Bertie *Court* 68/75

Reasons:

Lady stalked a nice race similar to this one for a 3rd in a nice time. Similar Trip insures a Top Three Finish. Open Race.

Number also ran 3rd ina similar field with an Even Trip. Might try to take them wire to wire, but not sure if she has enough speed. Not a Heavy play.

1st'er from a nice barn with nice connections. Day takes the mount on this surprise package, could be anything, but works suggest can run evenly.

Bertie ran 5th in debut, but was only 3+ lengths behind. Might better rating, another surprise, but not a Heavy Play.

Race #2-CLMG-($12.5K)-1 1/16 Mile *Low CLMG-Caution*

Top Selection: PP#4 Angel Lips *Torres* 73/75

Second Selection: PP#6 Would'nt Dream of It *Martinez* 72/75

Third Selection: PP#9 Linn Ann *Morgan* 70/75

Fourth Selections: PP#2 Begone Forever *Borel* 68/75

Reasons:

Lips has good tactical speed. Will require a Perfect Trip, but should be able to be a Top Three against this weak bunch. Open Race.

It is a nice horse who has a VERY Strong closing kick. Likes to sit way way back and come on like a rocket in the stretch. Perhaps too far back to win, even against this weak bunch, but may surprise at a Price. Exotics Value.

Ann is a very uneven middle mover, and could be right there. However, so inconsistant that she is a risky one to leave in or out. Play with Caution.

Forever won her MDN in her last. Lead the entire way and might try to do the same here. Not a Strong horse, but a repaet puts this one in Exotics at a possible price.

Race #3-MDN.SPCL-$40K-1 1/8 Mile(TURF) *MDN.TURF-Caution*

Top Selection: PP#6 King's Jewel *Borel* 81/85

Second Selection: PP#4 Pleasant King *Court* 77/85

Third Selection: PP#9 Hello Cielo *Albarado* 76/80

Fourth Selections: PP#8 My Friend Mac *Day* 70/75

Reasons:

Jewel ran a fast closing second on Fair Grounds Turf, and a repeat puts thi one in the winners circle. This race is wide open, so play with caution.

King is another closer from FG, but ran an even race on CD Turf in his last. Could be a value in Exotics, but not a big play.

Cielo has two seconds on dirt and tries Turf for the 1st Time. If he runs back to hisdirt form will be tough, your call. This one hard to gauge.

Mac has nice connections from the Menifee Camp, but has yet to show a big race. His 3rd on dirt at Florida was ok, but can this one turf ?

Race #4-CLMG-($15-17.5K)-6 1/2 Furlongs *Low CLMG-Caution*

Top Selection: PP#2 Deweycheatemandhow *D'Amico* 83/85

Second Selection: PP#1 Ryan S *L.Espinoaa* 80/85

Third Selection: PP#6 Andy's Friend *Albarado* 74/80

Fourth Selections: PP#4 Designer Genes *Borel* 71/75

Reasons:

Dewey is a horse with Tow Strong Seconds at this level and Distanc. Low % Jockey and Trainer, but this looks like the right spot for this horse.

Ryan won his last at lower level and is stepping up slightly. Interesting horse to use in exotics. May not want this level. Play with Caution.

Friend was claimed in last at this level. Two races back strong, and if he returns to that form, could run well. Possible Exotics Value.

Genes is dropping way down after a layoff and a move from AQU. Hough and Borel both tough, might wake up here for some value, but may need a race also. Your call.

Race #5-MDN.CLMG-($15-17.5K)-1 1/16 Mile *MDN Claimers-Caution*

Top Selection: PP#6 Middle Class *Albarado* 77/80

Second Selection: PP#7 Throw *Sellers* 68/75

Third Selection: PP#1 Leading Story *Court* 66/70

Fourth Selections: PP#9 Prince Charming *Johnson* 65/70

Reasons:

Class is a horse who in the past showed speed. In his last he midle moved to an even 3rd. Looks to have an experience edge over this group. Not a Major Play.

Throw is a sprinter with good early speed, stretching out. Nice connections, but this one tires at 6F, how will he make the extra distance ? Perhaps a Rate/Steal job ? Open Race.

Story is an even runner who manages to get a piece most of the time. Not a Strong Play, but should provide Value in Exotics. Use with Caution.

Charming ran a big race 2 back at 88-1 for a nice 2nd. Then had trouble in his last with a mis-cue. Low % trainer/Jockey, so be careful. Probable Huge Price.

Race #6-CLMG-($35-40K)-1 1/16 Mile(TURF) *Mid-CLMG-Caution*

Top Selection: PP#7 Perfect Imposter *Melancon* 78/80

Second Selection: PP#10 Old Chapel *Torres* 76/80

Third Selection: PP#2 Going Far *Hebert* 72/75

Fourth Selections: PP#3 Chrysalis House *Borel* 70/85

Reasons:

Imposter led every step in his last two races at this level to tire in the final jumps and finish 3rd both times. A better rate job gets the job done in this field. Usually tires badly final 8th, so play for Exotics. Will need a perfect trip to win.

Chapel ran a nice close up race at a higher level in his last. This horse has tons of back class, and when he was right would have annihilated this field. Obviously something happened to him to be running at this level, but may show signs of Life. Probable Top Three finish.

Far is running at the proper level, and should land a piece, but would be hard to bet to win. Might run big, but prefer for Exotics.

House is another with tons of back class who has not been runnning well as of late. When this horse was right, would have blown this field away. Question of how much class remains.

Race #7-ALLW-$43.8K-1 1/16 Mile *Strong Field*

Top Selection: PP#7 Adam's Time *Day* 83/90

Second Selection: PP#5 Boheche *Perret* 82/85 *Longshot Joe Special*

Third Selection: PP#3 Suddly Springs *Albarado* 80/85

Fourth Selections: PP#2 Burmese Ruby *Sellers* 77/85

Reasons:

Time is a nice middle mover with Pat up. Should be moving at the right time to score. Probable Top Two.

Boheche ran a nice second in this level and distance last time out. Looks to be improving and can surprise this field. Top Three Probable.

Springs has speed and can middle move. Might ake advantage of lack of high speed horses and try to steal. Exotics Value.

Ruby had a bad race on turf last out, but did run well on dirt prior. Has a lot of speed, and will try and shake loose. Could provde substantial Exotics Value as public throws him out due to turf race.

Race #8-ALLW-$46.3K-1 1/16 Mile(TURF) *Strong Field*

Top Selection: PP#4 Cat City *Sellers* 87/90

Second Selection: PP#5 Azarba *Albarado* 84/90

Third Selection: PP#8 Simple Wish *Day* 83/85

Fourth Selections: PP#6 Ariela *Court* 76/80

Reasons:

City has some nice turf races in her last five. None of them are wins, but she is always right there. Shane looks to be in the Top three with this one.

Azarba is a well bred turfer from Bill Mott/Allen Paulson. Hits the front and then fades in his last few. Could win the race outright. Needs a Perfect Trip.

Wish will lead this field down the backstretch. She runs fast and always gets a share, but tires most often. Should be in the top three.

Ariela likes to close from way back. Might give up too much ground to this field in order to capitalize on that late closing power. Might be a Big Longshot, but NOT a Heavy Play.

Race #9-ALLW-$51.3-1 1/16 Mile *Strong Field*

Top Selection: PP#6 Ballard High *Sellers* 95/95 *Stick Best Bet*

Second Selection: PP#5 Seattle Pattern *Melancon* 93/95

Third Selection: PP#3 Whist *Day* 90/95

Fourth Selections: PP#2 Risky Operation *D'Amico* 86/90

Reasons:

High is coming off two Smashing Victories. Is a $525 Yearling and should annihilate this field for fun. Shane is up, Top Two Finish Likely.

Pattern also won his last two, and could upset this race. Will be setting the pace up front. Should make for a Very Small Exacta.

Whist is another nice horse with two 3rd place finishes and Pat Up. Would boss this field with out the top two in it. Could provide Value to an Exotic, should be about 5-1.

Operation ran two nice Turf races, but this is a dirt race. Be Wary of Low Price. Could add value for the Exotics.

Race #10-CLMG-($25K)-6 1/2 Furlongs *Mid CLMG-Caution*

Top Selection: PP#7 Clifty Falls *Court* 78/85

Second Selection: PP#9 King Buck *Day* 77/90

Third Selection: PP#1A Doctor John *Hebert* 76/80

Fourth Selections: PP#10 Sheila's Flag *Sellers* 74/80

Reasons:

Falls won his last at this level and was claimed. Repeat performance puts him in winners circle.

Buck has been right there in his last two, and Pat will rate him perfectly. Probable Top Three.

John is a nice horse also with speed. May give value to Exotics.

Flag ran big at higher level at Lone Star, but this level may be comparable to that. Should offer Value to Exotics. Outside chance of win at nice price.
